USM: Master’s Programs

The Federico Santa María University offers two modalities of study: for science programs or science of engineering, the study plan is biannual and daytime, whereas for professional and MBA programs, the plan’s modality is executive meaning that the classes take place in one or two weekends per month.

Subjects are evaluated using a 0 – 100 scale. The minimum grade needed to pass a subject is 70. To stay in the program, the student must pass all the subjects, allowing normally the failure of one of them.

The minimum required time for a Master’s Program is 2 semesters and its completion cannot exceed 6 semesters.
